About Us.

Our little site is a unique and special place, the pods sit within the Drumlamford Lochs wildlife area and overlook the loch. Badgers, Otters and Hen harriers to name but a few of our visitors. The 2 berth pods are off grid, there is No Wi-Fi, we have No hot tubs and No showers. The mobile reception is useless. The wood burner keeps you warm on chilly Ayrshire nights.

There are bags of peace and quiet, miles of walking and cycling tracks, as we sit on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park. The whole area lies within the South Ayrshire & Dumfries and Galloway Biosphere. A UNESCO site where the residents try to live sustainably and in tune with the natural world.

We compost almost everything, including your poop!!! What we can’t compost we recycle, what we can’t recycle we try to reuse, what we can’t reuse…..well, that’s not a lot!! This keeps our environmental impact to a minimum. So if you’re looking for a throbbing nightlife, zip lines, hot tubs and KFC…..this is not the place for you.
Please don’t drop litter. Make sure you pick up the doggy do-do if you’ve got a furry friend with you, it can go on the compost heap..

The dark skies here are amazing. On a clear night, the Milky Way stretches across the sky, planets and satellites flicker overhead, as do the bats and unfortunately the midges (don’t forget your midge spray).. Our ethos is one of Harmony, live with and within the beauty of this much overlooked corner of Scotland.
